The state can now use the threat of absolute destitution to extract the labour of individuals, for its free use by its corporate allies, without recompense.

Let’s assume for a moment that this statement is true.  That would only demonstrate is that today’s youth are idiots who “love” being stripped of their labour rights and being compelled to work for a fraction of the statutory minimum wage.
